Who are we?
Founded in 2023, Trekkers UK is a Birmingham based, not for profit community organisation creating joyful, inclusive spaces for the Global Majority to connect with nature, move their bodies and vibe outdoors.
We bring people together through feel-good wellbeing walkshops, countryside hikes, retreats and outdoor adventures that support mental, physical and social wellbeing. Rooted in the Five Ways to Wellbeing, our experiences are more than just walks; They’re about laughter, community, good conversation and that lighter feeling you get after time spent in nature.
Whether it’s a gentle local stroll or a countryside strideout hike, Trekkers UK exists to help our community reset, recharge and reconnect with nature, with each other and with themselves. We centre fun and cultural belonging, all whilst making nature connection a positive, accessible and mentally nourishing part of life.
What’s the mission?
As a Birmingham-led, not for profit organisation, we use nature connection to support mental and physical wellbeing, foster joy, and nurture collective care. We actively respond to the stress, burnout, and disconnection often experienced in inner-city life. Guided by the Five Pathways to Nature Connectedness (Contact, Beauty, Emotion, Meaning, and Compassion) we create spaces where people can pause, feel safe, and experience nature and outdoor adventure as restorative rather than intimidating.
Our mission is to diversify green spaces, dismantle cultural and structural barriers to the outdoor adventure, and cultivate a future where caring for mental health through nature connection is normal, accessible, and joyful for everyone in our community.

Jurassic Coast Adventure - Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door
Join us as we head to the breathtaking Dorset Jurassic Coast for an unforgettable coastal adventure exploring two of the UK’s most iconic natural landmarks – Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Get ready for a spectacular day of dramatic cliffs, crystal-clear waters, rolling coastal paths and incredible panoramic views as we hike along one of England’s most famous stretches of coastline, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Whether you’re travelling solo, with friends or looking to meet like-minded outdoor enthusiasts, this is the perfect opportunity to escape the city, reconnect with nature and experience one of Britain’s most beautiful coastal landscapes.
The Route
Our hike will begin at Lulworth Cove before following the stunning South West Coast Path towards the world-famous limestone arch of Durdle Door.
Along the way we’ll take in dramatic cliff-top scenery, hidden coves, turquoise waters and some of the finest coastal views in the country. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs, admire the scenery and learn more about this incredible World Heritage Site.
We’ll spend time exploring both landmarks before completing our circular route back to Lulworth Cove, where you’ll have time to relax, grab refreshments or simply soak up the atmosphere before heading home.
